We all know how well wine performs with cheese, and that great bread, charcuterie, nuts and dried fruits can be critical members of the supporting cast. Some audiences have yet to discover that chocolate and cheese can share a top billing, too – together, they put on a great show.
I’ve never meet a deep, dark chocolate that I didn’t like, and good dark chocolates pair well with many different cheeses. That said, chocolates with something extra are nice parts of a cheese plate – some of the most popular additions to artisan chocolate provide counterpoints to nuanced cheese flavors.
